Joann Gorn, LCSW, CAP
Joann Gorn has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1998. Joann received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the Florida Atlantic University. She received her Master's in Social Work from Barry University. Later went on to Nova Southeastern University for her degree in Substance Abuse Studies. Joann is a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) by the the Florida Certification Board.
While attending Barry University, Joann worked at Spectrum Programs, Inc. for over 4 years. Spectrum is a South Florida Drug and Alcohol Treatment facility treating adult and adolescent populations. Joann completed her internship at The Retreat, a private psychiatric hospital located in Sunrise, Fl.
Joann is a former Clinician of The Renfrew Center of South Florida, one of the nation's first eating disorder treatment programs. Joann served as a therapist, family therapist, group facilitator and provided case management to patients for over 7 years.
